It could also be that all three credit bureaus used different scoring models and each scoring model has its different scoring ranges that's why you may see different scores from every bureaus.

I work for TransUnion. Lot of people call to ask why they're getting different score with experian and Equifax. Well, first of all we are all different companies, have different scoring models, the score you get is just a computer-generated score based on all the info showing up on your report, not all the info shows up on your report with the other 2 bureaus show up on us. It may vary from creditor to creditor, or not all creditors report info to all credit bureaus.

I had a bill for collections that I never owed, and proved it on my Equifax and Trans Union accounts. Trans Union simply deleted it from my credit report, which is normal practice. However, Equifax didn't. They marked the account closed, and as a charge off, which resulted in my credit score taking over a 100 point nose dive! I still haven't recovered! Of course Trans Union followed suit, but by only 60 points. I proved to Equifax that I didn't owe the bill, and that's how they punished me. By dropping my credit score by 106 points over night! Before this happened, my Trans Union score was 733. Equifax was 692. As of right now, one year later, my score sits at 669, Trans Union, and only 553 with Equifax! Also, Equifax used to show my only credit card. A Citi Visa. $3700 credit limit. $0 owed, as I just paid off the balance of $944 that was owed on it. I expect the credit limit to hit $5000 shortly. Trans Union see it. Equifax USED to see it as well. However….when they removed that bill I never owed, or rather marked the account as closed, and charged off, my Citi credit card info mysteriously vanished over night, the same over night that they tanked my credit score 106 points! Now there is no credit history, and one closed account on Equifax! And STILL 116 point difference between my credit scores! Equifax ruined my credit! It hasn't moved since a year ago, while my Trans Union score is trying to come back. Can anyone please help me, and tell me what to do? Please email me at daddy2lexi at yahoo dot com. PLEASE!

A credit score has nothing to do with the approval process.

Because Equifax its a joke, they dropped my score 80 points for using my credit card for 50 bucks that posted to my account, while my Transunion went up for using this same credit card. Government Conspiracy out to get us. They decided who gets credit. Same things post on both reports and no lates. So why the Big drop? I was in the 600s after repairing my credit, now in the 500s thanks to Equifax or should I say Equifaker. SO NOW I HAVE TO FEAR USING MY CARDS IF I DONT PAY MY BALANCE IN FULL?
